Just found your podcast and listening to Episode 19 re: traveling under State Department Warning. I agree that you should make your informed decision…my husband and I traveled to India one month after the Mumbai bombings in 2008. We had already purchased tickets, got immunizations, visas, etc, plus we were flying out of Mumbai. In the end, we decided not to change plans or take a detour, and just used caution and common sense when we there. All was fine, and Mumbai was probably under more security at that point because of the alerts.
